She began writing and performing music while she was young. By her teenage years, Taylor was already using the internet to develop an audience for her work.
In 2014, she began uploading music to YouTube and SoundCloud, giving her an early platform to share her songs and performances.
Career
Jasmine Taylor began her professional entertainment journey as a member of an Atlanta-based girl group before pursuing a solo career. She adopted the stage name Cravetay and began releasing music independently while still a teenager. In 2015, she released her It’s My Fault project, which included songs such as “I Don’t Need It” and “About Us.” She also launched the CRAVETAY Show, an online series connected to her early-stage identity.
Her growing online presence eventually caught the attention of producers working on Lifetime’s The Pop Game. In 2017, Taylor appeared on the first season of the reality music competition as Cravetay. Timbaland led the series, which featured a group of young singers competing for a recording opportunity. Taylor was one of the Atlanta artists featured in the competition.
Her involvement in The Pop Game introduced her to a much larger audience and gave her an opportunity to work in a professional recording environment with Timbaland and other music-industry figures. During the show, she recorded “Same Direction” with Timbaland.
After the television appearance, Taylor continued developing her independent music career. She worked with producer Mike Kalombo, the founder and CEO of Kalombo Records, and released additional projects.
Her music catalogue includes the HOT STUFF EP, which was released around 2018 and received attention on R&B charts. She later released her album Dear Me in 2019. The project reportedly reached No. 6 on the iTunes R&B chart.
Taylor followed Dear Me with the COLORZ EP and then released her sophomore album Emotionally Fly in October 2020. The album also became the name of a fashion line she announced around the same period, reflecting her interest in combining music and fashion.
Her music career continued into the 2020s with singles and projects including “Without Her,” “Body On Mine,” “Lost in the Crowd,” “Trust Me,” “Between Us,” “Your Life,” and “Look At What You Did.”
In 2024, Taylor released the album OUTAGE. She also worked with producer Clark D, who has been credited on several of her more recent releases.
Her next album, Catch Me While I Care, was released on June 27, 2025. The 10-track R&B/Soul project included “Trust Me,” “Way Too Long,” “Between Us,” “Where Did The Love Go,” “Run Away,” “Look At What You Did,” “Forever,” “What’s Good for Me,” “Better Off Alone,” and “Feelings.”
Taylor’s career later expanded further into livestreaming and digital content. She developed a Twitch presence under the username taylorjasminee, alongside her existing music and social-media platforms. Her online content now combines elements of music, entertainment, lifestyle and livestreaming.
Taylor was also selected for Kai Cenat’s Streamer University Class of 2026, placing her among creators participating in the growing livestreaming ecosystem.

On September 29, 2026, Taylor and Carter Efe were involved in a public confrontation with actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Ikeja, Lagos. The incident became another major topic of discussion online.
