Early Life
Gigi Hadid, who is also known as Jelena Noura Hadid, was born and raised in Los Angeles, where she grew up under her parents’ guidance and alongside her siblings. Her father, Mohammed Hadid, was a Palestinian-American real estate developer, while her mother, Yolanda Hadid, was also a former renowned Dutch model.
She grew up alongside her two siblings, a sister, Bella Hadid, and her younger brother, Anwar Hadid. However, they also announced that they had a stepsister, Aydan Nix, who is from their father’s relationship with Terri Hatfield Dull after he divorced their mother, Yolanda. They also stated that they have two older paternal half-sisters, Marielle and Alana.
She grew up in Santa Barbara, where she spent most of her formative years with her family, before they relocated to Beverly Hills after about 10 years. In 2013, she graduated from the prestigious Malibu High School, where she excelled as the varsity volleyball team captain and a competitive Horseback Rider.

In 2011, as an adult, she returned to modeling for GUESS and was announced as the face of the GUESS Campaign in 2012, which marked a breakthrough for her. She has done about three-shot campaigns for GUESS before she eventually got a bigger deal with IMG in 2013. In February 2014, Gigi made her debut at New York Fashion Week, walking for Desigual. She also got a big break after she was featured on the cover of Carine Roitfeld’s fashion book.

Their relationship was on and off for a period, although they reconciled a few months later before eventually ending things permanently in 2015.
Shortly after, Gigi entered a brief relationship with Joe Jonas, an American singer-songwriter and member of the band The Jonas Brothers. Though their relationship was short-lived, lasting only for 4 months before breaking up.”
In 2015, Gigi began a highly publicized relationship with Zayn Malik, an English singer-songwriter and former member of One Direction. Her romance, just like her previous one with Cody, was also on-and-off, breaking up and rereconciling multiple times.
