Who Is Elias Phoenix?

Elias Phoenix is an American pianist and former child music prodigy who became widely recognized after showcasing his piano skills at Carnegie Hall and appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show as a seven-year-old.

The brothers gained attention for their musical abilities, energetic personalities and performances at major venues and on television.

Early Life and Education

Elias Phoenix was born on April 24, 2006, in Nebraska and was raised in Brandon, Florida, alongside his twin brother, Zion.

The twins developed an interest in music when they were very young. Their early performances eventually revealed that they had an unusual ability to learn and reproduce music by ear. Elias began performing publicly as a child, with piano becoming his best-known talent.

His mother, Bree Phoenix, homeschooled Elias and Zion during their childhood. The arrangement gave the twins flexibility to continue their education while traveling for competitions, performances and television appearances.

Elias’s early ambitions became clear during his first appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. At the time, he told Ellen DeGeneres that two of his goals were to perform at Carnegie Hall and appear on her show. He had already achieved the Carnegie Hall goal by then. There is no reliable public record confirming that Elias later attended a particular college or university.

Elias Phoenix’s Career

Elias Phoenix began building his public career as a child pianist, often performing alongside his twin brother Zion. One of his major early achievements came in 2013, when he performed at Carnegie Hall in New York at seven years old after participating in the American Protégé International Music Talent Competition. His performance helped establish him as a young piano talent.

Elias gained considerably more attention in January 2014 when he appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. His personality quickly became part of what made the appearance memorable, but he also demonstrated his piano ability during the program. He returned to the show shortly afterward with Zion.

The twins continued making television appearances as their childhood music career developed. In 2016, Elias and Zion auditioned for America’s Got Talent, where their piano performance attracted attention during the auditions.

They also appeared on Little Big Shots, where they were presented as young twin musicians. Elias and Zion continued performing together at different events and venues during their childhood years.

Another notable credit came in 2018 when Elias and Zion appeared in the music video for “Youth” by Shawn Mendes featuring Khalid. The video featured young people from different backgrounds and highlighted their talents and achievements.

As an adult, Elias has maintained a much lower public profile than he did during his childhood years. There is limited reliable information about his current professional music activities, making it difficult to confirm whether he currently performs professionally.

In September 2026, Elias again attracted public attention after posting videos and personal statements on X concerning his childhood experiences. His posts contain serious allegations involving his upbringing and family. These statements should be understood as Elias’s own account rather than independently verified findings.

Personal Life

Elias Phoenix has largely kept his adult personal life away from mainstream media. He is the identical twin brother of Zion Phoenix, with whom he shared much of his early music career. The two performed together at Carnegie Hall and appeared on several television programs as children.

Elias has not publicly confirmed a marriage or publicly identified a spouse. In recent social media posts, he has discussed aspects of his childhood and personal experiences. Because these statements concern private family matters and remain largely based on his own account, they should not be presented as independently established facts.
